The Early Childhood Program allows the children to explore the world around them, communicate, make choices, develop independence, and a sense of self. Through varied activities, the girls are encouraged to develop and expand their vocabulary.
Our curriculum is designed to promote reading readiness. Therefore, we will be reading books such as Stone Soup, Little Blue & Little Yellow, and Sleepy Bears. The experience of hearing stories read and told helps develop imagination and nurtures enthusiasm for books.
We will also strive to develop the children's understanding of themselves as unique individuals who are kind and understanding. Within this context, we will learn about unique individuals such as Martin Luther King Jr. and St. Francis de Sales.
